General framework
The following Sport Betting Rules govern Cv999’s interactive sports betting products and services. They operate in conjunction with Cv999’s General Terms & Conditions and take precedence to the extent permitted by applicable law. If there is any inconsistency, these rules prevail for Cv999 customers who hold an active betting account.
Bets, markets and acceptance
A bet is a wager placed on a specific market within an event. A market represents a particular outcome or set of outcomes offered for that event. Cv999 may decline to accept all or part of a bet without providing a reason, and may refuse acceptance of bets where such acceptance would breach internal limits or risk controls.
-
Palpable error: If there is an obvious error in odds, event details or other material information, Cv999 may void the affected market or bet.
-
Live and prematch bets: Different rules may apply to live (in-play) betting versus prematch bets as described in the applicable market terms.
-
Odds and price accuracy: Prices displayed are subject to change until acceptance. Cv999 reserves the right to correct or void bets placed on incorrect odds or events.
Settlement philosophy and timing
Bets settle on the basis of the official result or the final outcome determined by Cv999 in accordance with these rules. Where applicable, Cv999 will use official sources and, in the absence of official confirmation, its own statistics or records as the basis for settlement. Cv999 may suspend settlement pending verification when required by circumstances.
-
End of event or period: Unless a market states otherwise, a market is settled at the end of the standard playing time for the event, including any stoppage time that is officially added. Overtime or shootouts are only counted if the market expressly includes them.
-
VAR and post-event adjustments: Decisions arising from Video Assistant Referee reviews that occur during or after the event may affect settlement. Cv999 will void or adjust bets as appropriate if a VAR decision contradicts the on-field decision and affects the outcome of a market, provided the odds on the market were not already affected by the VAR review. Cv999 reserves the right to reverse settled bets if the final decision is communicated before the end of the relevant match window and would change the result.
-
Dead heat and ties: In markets where a tie or draw is possible and a Dead Heat occurs, settlement will be proportionate to the number of winners. If a market offers a true draw as part of its structure and a Dead Heat occurs among the tied outcomes, the stake will be split accordingly among winners and losers.
-
Settlement window: The maximum period between initial settlement and any subsequent re-settlement arising from new information or corrections is 30 days.
Abandonment, postponement and venue changes
If an event is abandoned, postponed or otherwise not completed within the originally scheduled window, Cv999 reserves the right to void or settle bets as described below. Markets that are already determined remain valid.
-
Postponement: If an event is postponed and restarted within 48 hours of the original start time, bets on markets that remain eligible are often retained; otherwise, undecided markets may be voided.
-
Abandonment: If an event is abandoned and not resumed within 48 hours, undecided bets are void except for markets that have been unconditionally determined.
-
Change of start or venue: If the venue or the home/away designation changes, bets on the affected match may be void unless the market rules specify otherwise. Cv999’s decision on such matters is final.
Periods, formats and special terms
In those sports where event duration or structure can vary, Cv999 may apply published format rules. Bets placed on formats that are not supported for a given match will be void. Where a format affects halftime calculations, Cv999 will apply the formula specified in the market description.
Outrights, in-play and play-or-pay
Outright and long-term markets are subject to the Play-or-Pay principle. If a listed participant cannot take part in the competition, the market remains active for the purposes of winner and position markets, and may be settled as lost where applicable. Head-to-head and certain participant-specific markets may be void if the listed participant does not compete.
-
Play-or-Pay: For outright markets, a participant's absence typically results in a loss on that market unless the market description states otherwise. For H2H and participant-specific markets, voiding may apply in the absence of the listed participant.
Soccer rules and market specifics
Soccer (football) markets are normally settled on the result at the end of regular time. Markets may specify inclusion of extra time or penalties; if not specified, such periods are not counted. The following rules apply unless the market description states otherwise:
-
1X2: Predict home win, draw, or away win based on the regular-time result unless the market includes extra time or penalties.
-
Correct Score: The final official score must match the stated score for a win; otherwise, the bet loses unless the market provides alternative terms.
-
Half-time/Full-time: Settlement reflects the half-time result and the full-time result as defined by the market; overtime is ignored unless stated.
-
First/Last/Anytime scorer: In matches with players who do not participate, affected bets may be voided in accordance with the market terms. Own goals are treated according to official rules for the market. Bets on players who enter play after the event’s goal shall be void for first/last scorer markets, unless specified otherwise.
-
Handicap and European Handicap: These markets adjust for a goal difference by applying a handicap to one side. European Handicap uses integer values and includes a draw in the sense of an adjusted result for settlement purposes. Example: A Home (-2) handicap means the home team must win by at least three goals for the bet to win; a Draw (-2) means the away team must win by exactly two goals for a win; a Backed outsider (-2) means the outsider can win, draw, or lose by one goal for the bet to be a winner.
-
Asian Handicap and multi-leg nuances: Asian Handicap settlement follows the market terms; non-integer handicaps are designed to eliminate draws in that specific market.
-
Cards and corners: Booking markets reflect penalties and cards shown during regular time unless otherwise stated; post-match cards or non-participants are excluded unless market terms specify otherwise.
Horse racing markets
Horse racing markets follow standard double-result conventions unless stated. The First Past the Post and official results (Weighed In) govern settlement. Double Result concessions apply where the rule is offered. If the winner is disqualified after the official result, settlement remains based on the official result. The Cv999 rules apply to UK and Irish racing unless market terms specify exceptions.
Player and general sports rules
For non-soccer markets, Cv999 will apply standard settlement logic based on the event’s official final result, with adjustments for injuries, retirements, or other event-specific conditions as described in the market terms. In all cases, the operator’s decision on settlement and any dispute is final and binding.
Data integrity, errors and disputes
All data displayed on Cv999’s platform may be subject to delays. Bets are placed at the customer’s risk based on information available at the time of acceptance. Cv999 reserves the right to correct errors and to suspend or reverse settlements if a mistake is identified, subject to a reasonable period for correction and notification to the customer.
VAR and changing official results
Where a decision by VAR affects the match state or outcome and the market was offered before the decision, Cv999 will void or adjust bets if the final decision would have altered the market outcome. If the VAR decision does not impact the market’s odds, settlements may stand as originally offered. Cv999’s interpretation of VAR outcomes, used to determine settlement, is final.
Miscellaneous and finality
These rules supplement Cv999’s General Terms & Conditions. Cv999 reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being published on Cv999’s platform. By placing bets, customers agree to these rules and acknowledge Cv999’s right to make and apply such amendments.
